"Our Team"
One Sapling at a Time strives to "Grow", through new teammates joining "Our Team" every day our numbers are increasing. As the youth joins hands to combat climate change by joining our team, we grow in diversity, geography, cultures, perspectives, and time zones. Which has enabled us to have a worldwide impact, making us a multi-national student-led organization.
We grow through "Diversity" as we have students joining "Our Team" ranging in ages from 18 to as young as 4 years old, who support our initiative. We grow through "Geography" as we have teenagers joining from countries all around the world, ranging from India to UAE to Canada, and our influence in increasing through our social media. We aim to have a representative for each country, throughout the globe. Through multiple platforms and word of mouth, we believe that our aim is pragmatic and accomplishable, only through your support. We grow through "Cultures" as we have students from different religions, communities, and "Perspectives" joining hands to support a common cause. Finally, as we are multi-national, we are contributing to the environment 24/7.
By "Thinking globally and acting locally", and with your support, we are certain of bringing a change to mother earth, One Sapling at a Time.
Hriday Goyal
Hi, I am Hriday Goyal and I believe we can “make the Earth green, One Sapling at a Time.” I started the initiative of planting "One Sapling at a Time" which helps the youth individually and collectively tackle climate change, global warming, and biodiversity loss by “thinking globally and acting locally”. Moreover, promoting a healthier and sustainable lifestyle through practices such as kitchen framing, urban forestry, afforestation, and indoor planting which leaves behind a "Green Footprint". Consequently, the best time to plant trees is NOW! Let's join hands for a better tomorrow, making Earth green, One Sapling at a Time.
Muda Borgoyari
Hi, I am Muda Borgoyari & I want to be a part of One Sapling at a Time because I believe in the ideology and the importance of preserving our environment. In this fast-paced world where materialism and success are the goals of everyone, I believe in focusing on Mother Earth as "the provider" and "the giver." It should be our primary concern, as it is being depleted by man's reckless and unstoppable greed. I want to make a difference with the help of this organization and do my part as a responsible and caring citizen of our planet.
Aysha Ismeail
Hello, my name is Aysha Ismeail and I decided to be a part of this wonderful initiative because of my love for nature. I've noticed that trees, and plants in general, provide me with a big source of comfort which is why I would love to be a part of a community that's working hard on protecting our comfort, "One Sapling at a Time".
Vanya Agarwal
From being the ‘oxygen cylinders’ to being the habitat of many, from preventing climate change to purifying water and air, from being a primary source of food to be a healer of diseases, the benefits of trees are innumerable. Hey! I am Vanya, I strongly believe that it is our moral obligation to leave our future generations with a world that is at least as good as the one we inhabited. Trees are unarguably the basis of sustaining life on earth. As I feel so highly about sustainability, I am proud to become the Co-founder of One Sapling at a Time. Planting One Sapling at a Time goes a long, long way!
Gursehaj Gill
Hi, I’m Gursehaj Gill and I am keen to be an active teammate for One Sapling at a Time. My childhood travel experiences ingrained in me a deep respect and admiration for the diversity of our ecosystems, igniting my passion for nature's dynamics. I traveled to visit coral reefs in Australia and glaciers in Europe.
Life on Earth would be impossible without green vegetation, notably trees. We owe trees a huge debt of gratitude for providing us with the oxygen we need to breathe, without which we would perish. Now that I understand how vital plants are in our daily lives, I want to contribute to a greater cause by connecting to your organization and playing my part to help the environment and save plants
Mehr Mann
Hi, I’m Mehr Mann and I am 5 years old. I am a budding environmentalist and feel protective for the flora as well as fauna in my vicinity. I am extremely loving and caring towards the environment, and am happiest in the company of plants. I love to water and prune my plants and also fill a small bowl of water for the birds given the heat in the Indian subcontinent.
I feel we are all responsible for our present pastures as well as a greener future if we look after our plants - both indoors and outdoors. Every effort - small or big matters in this direction. The color green is in the middle of the rainbow as well since in the visible spectrum it signifies health. I have noticed that people prefer rushing towards “greener pastures” during summer breaks and enjoy glimpses of greeneries and mountains. So why should we not start it right where one stays?
Thanks to the initiatives of One Sapling at a Time, I have been inspired to make a change.
Amna Saif Almazrouei
Hi, I am Amna Saif Almazrouei! I am 6 years old and I think that every week there should be a gardening day and girls should plant flowers to make the Earth more beautiful! By joining One Sapling at a Time I will be able to make the world even more beautiful.
Armaan Kapoor
Hi, I am Armaan Kapoor, ever since I was a little boy I have always had a connection with nature, and in this day and age of global warming “our future is in our hands” so I joined One Sapling at a Time to make a change. Slowly but surely.
Vedansh Jain
Hi, I am Vedansh Jain and I want to be part of One Sapling at a Time because I believe it’s important to preserve our Mother Earth. In this busy world, everyone is building big empires and ruthlessly cutting down trees. Being a part of this organization I want to give back to the environment and want to see the trees flouring everyone. By taking such small steps it will lead to a better and bright future
Rashita Pahwa
Hi, I’m Rashita Pahwa and I would love to be a part of this thoughtful initiative "One Sapling at a Time" as I believe when you plant a tree, you don’t just plant a sapling but hope. A tree, in its entirety, has the ability to contribute each of its parts to sustaining life. From its leaves to the roots and its bark, every part of a tree has something to offer and has profound value. It is perturbing to see that with such rich values and importance, trees still do not get treated properly. Therefore, It has to be a combined mission of all mankind to conserve and plant more trees in order to save our ailing planet. To sum it up, it is extremely pivotal to grasp the value of planting trees and contributing to the society you live in.
Mawiyah Shawl
Hey, I’m Mawiyah Shawl and I would like to contribute to this initiative by bringing my skills and knowledge about the environment and having my own little organization dedicated to climate change. Being a global citizen and a teenager the responsibility falls in our hands to look after our future and the environment within it. I believe in the vision of one sapling at a time and fully support the activities conducted by them.
Yadhvi Sharma
Hi, my name is Yadhvi Sharma and I study at Pathways Gurgaon in grade 12. Studying ESS as a subject for the past year has taught me to give back to the environment as much as I can, and therefore through One sapling at a Time’s initiative I want to respect and support the nature around me
Seerat Nain
Hi, I'm Seerat Nain, I'm a firm believer in the fact that “the Earth is a fine place and worth fighting for” with this thought I'm proud to be in charge of operations such as plantation drivers in Ludhiana, Punjab. Myrah Sahni
Hi, I’m Myrah Sahni and I’d like to contribute to this incredible initiative by not only planting trees but also spreading awareness about its necessity. In this ever growing world I think its imperative to remember our roots and honour them. Its individuals like us who need take small steps towards a bigger, ultimate goal and eventually fix the damage we have caused. We owe it to the planet we call our home to nourish it and protect it.
Vanshika Jain
Hi, I’m Vanshika Jain and I’d like to be part of the initiative One Sapling at a Time because I believe in the ideology of keeping our nature preserved for future generations. Planting trees not only give back to Mother Nature but also provides us with hope regardless of the severe issues going-on on our planet like climate change, deforestation, and many more and it helps us as global citizens to make our mark in this community.
Nafisa Khurana
Hi, I'm Nafisa Khurana and I'd like to join One Sapling at a Time because I believe that planting trees is one of the most effective ways to combat climate change. It gives us optimism in the face of serious concerns and it enables us to leave our mark as global citizens. Every individual has a responsibility to return to the Earth and sustain a good, pollution-free environment for ourselves and future generations. It would be wonderful to witness how our efforts pay off in the near future!
Vanshika Sukhija
Deforestation, overpopulation, pesticide use, toxic oceans, endangered species, global warming. How are we to make sense of the many environmental problems facing the Earth today? Although the sciences provide a factual account of environmental threats and ways of countering them, scientific facts alone seem not to be enough. For it is the case that artists, writers, filmmakers, and even scientists find themselves turning again and again to their imaginations to respond to the environmental predicaments of society.
Hi, I am Vanshika Sukhija, and I believe that trees greatly contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, supporting wildlife, improving air quality, conserving water, preserving soil, and climate amelioration. By only performing its primary function of photosynthesis, it contributes more than it takes.
Thus, I robustly support the cause which “One Sapling at a Time” is working towards.
Sohana Chopra
Hi, I am Sohana Chopra and I want to be a part of One Sapling at a Time because planting trees helps in increasing the green cover of the Earth and improving the environment. As we know that Planet Earth is home to man and millions of other terrestrial and aquatic life forms. So, by erasing trees from the face of the earth and destroying green cover, we are destroying the homes of all these creatures as well. It is high time that we take the responsibility for our actions. We need to give back to the earth and take care of her the same way she has been taking care of us for so long. We need to plant as many trees as possible to make our earth beautiful and green again. “Plant a tree today for a better tomorrow.”
Siya Bhasin
Sustainability is a topic that really interests me. It is pertinent to the subject that I want to pursue in college because I want to pursue Business marketing or Fashion Marketing. Sustainable marketing is the type of marketing that uses products and services that respect the environment and social aspects around. It aims to improve life quality by promoting products, services, and ideas that don't harm the environment. With the increase of environmental issues, society is becoming more conscious and facing these issues. When businesses take part in such initiatives, they encourage their users to do the same. In return, companies get better brand visibility and more customers who stand by the message
Siya Kapoor
Hi, I am Siya Kapoor and I want to be part of One Sapling at a Time because I believe in its cause. Planting trees can fight climate change, uplift communities, and restore biodiversity. Srishti Gulati
Hi, I'm Srishti Gulati and I'd love to be a part of ‘One Sapling at a Time’ since I believe in the ideology of preserving our mother Earth which we as humans have caused great harm. This would not only help more people to participate in the venture but also help us in achieving our goal of this organization. We must also focus on sustaining natural resources. A greener, cleaner and healthier environment would be our goal and I would be contributing my best to achieve it. Together we can make a difference
Vanya Manchanda
My name is Vaanya Manchanda, I want to be a part of the mission initiated by ‘One Sapling at a Time’ because, since the advent of life on Earth, trees had the power to sustain life by providing oxygen, shelter, food, etc, but soon with the population explosion, Human Beings started to take that power away from them. From being a component of nature and they became its controller.
Being a part of your organization I want to bring a change by planting saplings that will grow into lush trees and will enjoy their power again, and provide Earth to the next generation in the same beautiful form in which I received it.
Tanvi Goel
Hi, I’m Tanvi Goel and I would like to join One Sapling at a Time because I think that we all need to wake up and change our depleting environment. Our planet earth is our motherland and we need to be responsible to take care of it, and by planting trees we can accomplish this as it will bring a positive change in our community
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make
Ira Badesha
Hi, I’m Ira Badesha and I want to be a part of One Sapling at a Time because I love its ideology of it and completely fathom the idea of preserving our nature. In this fast pace world, where materialism and success are the aims of every individual, I believe in focusing on “the provider” and “the giver” of Mother Earth. It should be our primary concern which is getting depleted day by day due to the reckless and unstoppable greed of man. I want to bring change with the help of this organization and do my part as a respectable and concerned inhabitant of our earth
Anushree Baskaran
Hey, I’m Anushree Baskaran and I would love to be a part of ‘One Sapling at a Time’ as we only have one Earth and if we do not take care of it right now, then when? Mother Earth has nurtured us into the humans we are and it’s now our time to give back to her. I look forward to doing my bit for the environment and helping encourage others to do so themselves
Mansehaj Singh
Hi, I’m Mansehaj Singh and I would like to join the initiative by One Sapling at a Time because I think planting trees is one of the best solutions to climate change and I would love to bring about a positive change in our community. It is good for the environment and the weather, with the kind of heat we've been facing in Ludhiana, some rain and shade would definitely be welcome! It would be great to see how our contributions bear fruit in the near future!
Krishiv Bajaj
I am Krishiv Bajaj and I want to be a part of ‘One Sapling at a Time’, Because I believe that while we’re growing exponentially in our economy, We are forgetting our roots - Our Mother Earth. Nature is the life-giving force and everything we have depends on nature. While a growing economy is great for the future of India, We must also focus on developing and sustaining the depleting natural resources. A greener and healthier environment should be our focus and I will contribute to the best of my abilities in making this a reality. Being a part of this esteemed organization would not only help me do my bit for the environment but would also benefit our mother earth.
Kanav Gupta
Hi, I’m Kanav Gupta and I would love to be a part of the organization ‘One Sapling at a Time’ because we should take initiative and believe in the ideology of keeping our nature preserved for future generations. By bringing in my knowledge and skills I’ll try hard to protect my environment. Being a part of your organization I want to bring a change by planting saplings that will grow into lush trees and will enjoy their power again, and provide Earth to the next generation in the same beautiful form in which I received it.
Ria Bansal
Hi, I am Ria Bansal and I want to be a part of One Sapling at a Time as I believe in the ideology of preserving Mother Earth. It’s no secret that the future of our planet desperately needs to be safeguarded, with climate change already wreaking havoc on our natural environment. In order to preserve the Earth for future generations, we need to reduce the amount of harm that human activities have on the environment and support the natural world as much as we can. I would be helpful to this organization by creating awareness and together we can build a community leading to a better future.
Aaira Banda
Hi, I’m Aaira Banda and I would like to be a part of this initiative because I completely believe in its cause. As an inhabitant of this planet, it is our number one responsibility to ensure the protection of our Mother Earth. It is very necessary for us humans to act in a way that ensures the conservation of the environment is maintained. Being a part of this organization, One Sapling at a Time would give me a great opportunity to give back to the environment. I would love to help in taking a small step towards a greener and flourishing future for the people as well as the planet.
Arshit Jain
It's rightly said that If you cut a tree, you kill a life. If you save a tree, you save a life. If you plant a tree, you plant a life. Hey! I am Arshit Jain. I believe in planting trees for our future as trees make the environment cleaner and provide us with oxygen. In the present scenario heatwaves have already killed hundreds of people in india and plantation of trees and saplings are necessary to avoid this in future. I belive One Sapling at a Time is a great initiative and I believe in it! I would love to help in taking a small step toward a greener and flourishing future for the people as well as the planet.
Vasvi Gupta
Hi, I'm Vasvi Gupta and I would love to be a part of the organization 'One Sapling at a Time' because I believe that we should always give back to nature. Nowadays rather than giving, we are destroying our mother earth. So this is my step for betterment.
Our small initiative today can have a huge impact on the future. This organization will help me give back to nature.
Hriday Mehra
Hi, I’m Hriday Mehra and I would love to be a part of One Sapling at a Time since it is a very considerate initiative. Our well-being solely depends on this planet and as human beings, I think it is our duty to protect and save Mother Earth. Our choice to care for and protect the Earth will have positive impacts where the ecosystems and species can thrive in their natural environment. I would like to be a part of taking a small step towards a better, brighter, and greener future.
Nabhith Gupta
Hi, I am Nabhith Gupta and I am keen to be an active member of One Sapling at a Time. For the past few years, due to pollution, our world has been affected by global warming. Global warming is caused by the pollution which we create. As we all have noticed that from the past few years, there has been a rise in the summer temperatures and there has been a drop in winter temperatures. Trees are one of the only solutions to stop the dying ozone layer. I always loved trees and always hated it when people would cut down trees. By planting one tree we could start to make slight mend to the ozone layer. I would love to plant trees that in a few years would grow to be a great supplier of oxygen.
Rayansh Gupta
Hi, I am Rayansh Gupta and I would love to be a part of One Sapling at a Time. Taking care of Mother Nature is more important now than ever. Maulik Khanna

I believe that protecting and repairing the environment is a moral obligation of our generation and we must do our part in this regard.
Pankhul Arora
Hi, I am Pankhul Arora and I want to be a part of One Sapling at a Time’s initiative as planting trees is the ideal approach to support nature. Trees are the earth’s life-supportive network. They clean air and give oxygen supply. Planting trees won’t just make up for their loss yet but also advantage the earth. Moreover, tree plantation is the only way to control pollution to some extent.
